Executive Bio: Lisa Maxwell
Lisa is a founding partner of Gerard Stewart and successful fifteen year veteran of the Human Capital Industry. Based in Atlanta, she conducts searches for Executive Search, Professional Services and Staffing Executives within the U.S. and Europe. With ten years of executive search experience, her track record of excellence in placing Presidents, Partners, Vice Presidents and other senior level management executives is based on building collaborative partnerships with both clients and candidates.
Sought by major executive search and human capital management firms, Lisa is known for her rapid search execution, broad network of industry contacts, and precise assessment of cultural fit. A significant part of Lisa's practice is internationally focused and often includes managing multi-country assignments for clients ranging from emerging growth enterprises to global leaders in executive search and recruitment.

Prior to founding Gerard Stewart, Lisa was a Senior Partner with Lucas Group where she originated new markets and developed practice groups in emerging industries. In this position, Lisa was a top revenue producing recruiter and a perennial member of the President's Club.
Lisa began her career in staffing as a business development executive focusing on managed services and outsourcing services. Her corporate career includes holding sales and management roles of increasing responsibility with a global leader in employment services.
Lisa graduated from Purdue University with a BA in International Business and Spanish.

Courtney Bailey is a Partner with Gerard Stewart. A seasoned search industry executive, her knowledge of corporate cultures, emerging markets and global recruitment organizations allows her to quickly assess talent. Her enthusiasm and dedication to recruiting is evident in all of her candidate and client interactions. Courtney has unique and proven direct sourcing techniques that allow her to find the "perfect fit" for all of her clients.
Courtney's focus is on serving clients in retained search and professional recruitment. She has placed Managing Partners, Associates, Vice Presidents of Recruitment as well as Consultants and Directors of Human Resources. Additionally, her practice includes placing Equity Partners with emerging staffing organizations and venture capital firms.
Prior to joining Gerard Stewart, Courtney established DSCC. Inc., an executive search consulting firm. She assisted leading organizations in developing human capital recruitment strategies. Working onsite with these firms, Courtney was able to align herself with senior management to increase the effectiveness of recruitment processes.
Courtney initiated her search career working for Lucas Group based in Atlanta. As Senior Recruiter, Courtney recruited executives in both Staffing and Human Resources. Additionally, she launched the firm's first Diversity Practice.
Before embarking on her career in search, Courtney held business development and leadership roles with leading employment services and recruitment organizations. She demonstrated an array of talents in these positions and was successful in engaging and managing global accounts.
Courtney is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
Courtney resides in Dunwoody, Georgia with her husband and three children.
Based in London, Elaine leads the International division which specializes in the placement of candidates in Australia, The Middle East & Far East / South East Asia as well as mainland Europe. International assignments are focused in the professional sectors of employment services and recruitment to include Accountancy, Banking & Finance, HR, Legal, Sales, Marketing as well the Technical arena including Construction, Engineering, and Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical / Bio-Science and Telco markets.
Elaine oversees activities concerning assignments for global teams and coordinating with peers internationally to assure high levels of client service. In addition, Elaine maintains an active search practice where she has successfully completed assignments for Managing Directors, Country Leaders and Partners. A search professional with more than 15 years of search experience in London, Elaine has been the managing director of two other recruitment firms. Additionally, she has spent significant time in both Sydney and the Middle East (Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Dubai). This first hand experience is invaluable when consulting with candidates and clients.
Having spent her early career in sales and management roles, Elaine commenced her recruitment career within a UK based staffing firm where she developed a commercial permanent and temporary staffing division. Subsequently, Elaine was recruited to manage an established team within a consultancy focused on the Accounting and Finance market.
Jane Brinker joined Gerard Stewart as Director of Research in 2005. She has been leading and directing the research function for firms in the retained executive search business since 2000. She specializes in executive-level assignments in the Outsourcing and Staffing industries for clients ranging from privately held emerging companies to firms listed in the Fortune 1000. Jane is also responsible for database management, research training and development.
Prior to joining Gerard Stewart, she worked for an international search firm where she supported a range of projects in Human Resources and Technology.
Jane began her career in Education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from College of William and Mary.
